This is a faithful recreation of the historic DECWARS game that ran on DEC PDP-10 systems, bringing the classic 1980 multiplayer experience to modern terminals.

🎯 Quick Start Guide
- Connect to the game by clicking "telnet decwars.com 1701" (opens telnet client)
- Enter the game with the activate command - You can optionally select what galaxy (game) to enter. You will be assigned a side and ship automatically.
- You can always type "HELP" for the complete command list (31 commands available) anywhere in the game.
💡 Command Tips
All commands can be abbreviated to 2 characters (some to 1). Use "/" to chain commands (e.g., "SC/ST/TA" for scan, status, targets). Press ESC to repeat your last command.
🏆 Your Mission
Destroy all enemy bases and ships, capture all enemy planets!
Command your starship with warp and impulse engines, fire photon torpedoes and phasers, manage deflector shields and ship energy. Dock at friendly starbases for repairs and supplies. Beware of deadly Romulan ships that prowl the galaxy cloaked and dangerous. The objective: destroy all enemy installations before they destroy yours!
